Almost Unbearably Cold

There is a freeze going on in most of Nevada....not normal so they say. Never happens like this, so they say. "They" are obviously surprised by this. Doesn't help much hearing that being said, tho.

The high being predicted for our area is only 17. <sigh> It is getting so cold at night, we can't really keep the house decently warm.....it is 63 in here, I think, the last time I looked. More wood for the fireplace, that is for sure.

I watched weather on tv for a bit last night. We are certainly not the only ones with water issues. Vegas and Reno people are freezing and doing without too. Since they are in the city, and warmer than us, you would think they would be okay. Apparently not. They said it was colder in Vegas than it was in New York, and they sounded surprised by that fact.

Sure tired of this. I admit, in public, I just want to cry. This is tiring and frustrating, to be truthful. brrrrrrrr. Put on another layer of clothes and socks and it will be toasty in here. hahaha

Praise God for our health, food to eat, a roof over our head. Amen.
