Yesterday - Santa

I forgot to post......yesterday we went all the way to Hadley. The little town with the store, post office and library.

Had to go.....Santa was at the library. Whoot Whoot. Yes, I had my picture with him again this year. They gave us a special red ornament with the year on it, and reindeer antlers. Oh boy, love the antlers. hehehe

I also received a cute penguin wearing a Santa hat. I shall take it with me to see the G=kids for Christmas. Going to have to give it a name tho. I am considering 1. Hadley (the little town); 2. Booker (came from the library) or 3. Manley (the road we live on)

The internet has opened a huge world to make friends through email, online groups, FB, etc. I am sure you guys know what I mean.

Well, I do some verification of gardens on Fairyland. I met a new lady by doing this. Her name is Debbie M.

Debbie is with a scout troop over in the UK. Her girls did a thing with girls from another troop that was Doctor Who related. When she saw the badge the girls were going to receive....she was kind enough to get one for me because she knows how much I like the show.

I am honored to have this "fantastic" badge. I am blessed to make such cool friends all over the world.

I have a Christmas Tree!!! hahahahaha

Cracker?

Lori Lou is a cracker eating dog. Always has been. I was eating some crackers with cheese and pickles....so of course Lori Lou comes and asks for a cracker. She takes it and enjoys it with all the happiness a pug can have when eating something the love.

Now insert Cinderella. She observes Lori Lou ask for the cracker and then eating it. I asked her if she wants a cracker? Of course I do....if Lori Lou is going to eat something....so do I.

Sniff, sniff....lick. Gingerly take the cracker, touching as little of it as you can. Lay it in front of you, between your paws.....look back up at the human.....look back at Lori Lou.....<sigh>.....proceed to eat the cracker. Making sure everyone knows what a trouper you are for eating the disgusting thing.

Hey Lori Lou, want another one, I ask. Sure! She takes it with glee.
Hey Cinderella, want another one, I ask. Ha! Nope, Not even if hell freezes over!

Remember I put out the old turkey bones, out back, thinking the feral kitties would be glad to have them?? Yeal, and the magpies took off with them.

Remember I put out bread in the front for the birds? Guess who shows up and eats the bread? Yelp, the kitties.

12-13 Rub my belly....now......

How the heck am I supposed to get anything done?? Lori Lou insists that I rub her belly. If I stop, she will pet me with her paw. If she thinks I am ignoring her....she uses both paws and gives me that sad pug face she has perfected over the years. Ha! Nooooo, she isn't spoiled one little bit. She is a pug and this is her right in life....belly rubs on demand. hahahaha

12-13 Door Stop (Dee) joins our family

Skunk Rock would like to introduce his new buddy. Mr Awesome brought her home yesterday. We are pretty sure it is a girl cause of the beautiful vein of quartz running through the middle. We call her "Door Stop" Dee for short. As you can see, she is ready for the holidays just like Skunk Rock.

12-12 Silly puggers

What in the world got into the pugs tonight?? Got back from Bingo and all three of them were running around the house like they were on a race track! It was quite amusing.

Even Arrt was involved....each of them grabbed a toy and fussed with it, each other and us! Arrt is the low energy pug of this family, so for him to play like that with us was great! Cinderella bounces....literally bounces when she plays.

Lori Lou has made it her mission to take each toy Cinderella picks out away from her. Cinderella loves it and they can go for several minutes. Lori Lou is not showing aggression, so it seems to be a game for her.

I guess this all stems from not being able to go outside and run around like we did before it got cold. They had some extra energy and shared it with us.

Mr Awesome come home for lunch and I had him a hot meal waiting. I love surprising him that way.

I am working on the afghan for a friend....the one I started back in March....bout time I get it all worked out.....

It is beautiful outside. Cold, of course.....but the sun is shining and the pugs have enjoyed being able to go out without their feet getting all frosty.

What's on my mind??? How blessed I am. What a good life I have.

I put on layers of clothes and ventured out this morning....early.....to go to the clinic. You know what?? I wasn't feeling cold?? what I mean is, it was about 9, according to the car, and it didn't feel like it at all. I took off the big coat and went around with just a hoodie. Maybe I have become acclimated to the colder weather, at last?? For the record, there is no wind what so ever. (thank you God for that!) We also have the most beautiful warm sun going on.

12-08 Tophat

The top hat I made for Handsome Dude (son1). He asked for goth/steam punk. Sammie suggested the green hat band color. I made it with fuzzy green. I think it is a fun hat. Hope he has a good time with it. I suspect I will be seeing it in youtube videos.

Moo

Oh too funny! I just watched them rounding up a cow in the alfalfa field, riding a quad and using their dog. The cow was not happy with either of them. It was charging at them and fussing the whole time. They got it safely where they wanted, eventually. Gotta love this TMON stuff.
