Egg....here egg egg egg.......

I have been wanting to make a cake ever since I got here to the daughter's place. No mixer. I am not ready to hand beat the mix.....did that too many times as a kid. Ha.

So, I have mix, pineapple and cherry to make a cool cake with. Just sitting there looking at me every time I open the cabinet. Cake mix has a way of giving a good guilt look, trust me.

Yesterday at Walmart, I looked at mixers.....viola! I bought one cause they have a tiny little no frill one for $5. Perfect for a cake or cupcakes now and then. Yea! Back home all ready to do the deed......egads! No eggs. hahahaha Making a cake is going to be a momentous feat for me, apparently.

Here I set......trying to decide if it is worth it to drive out just to get eggs.....so far I have stayed away from the cabinet.....so I think I am safe to put it off for a little while longer. Long as I don't look at the cake mix. Ha!

I wonder......if and when I have everything I need for this cake.....do you think it will taste as good as I have been anticipating? <smile>
