A Doctor Who shirt that just sort of showed up yesterday.  I didn't remember ordering it, so I thought Mitchell had.  hahahaha

Tardis T-shirts - shiny things

Do you know the muffin man?

Made blue berry ones for Mitchell.  Made him smile.  These are a couple of my raspberry ones.  They are only from a little package mix....yet they make a nice Saturday breakfast.  Yum.

Buttons, who has the buttons??

I am redoing and downsizing the craft room items so I can fit them on a rental truck I will be able to drive from here to there. You guys know this.

Yesterday I had this huge box of buttons....the ones my mom sent to me over two years ago. I have sorted it many times to get it into some sort of organization I can use. I have them into colors in little baggies. Yet, there are still a whole bunch of them to work with.

I was all proud of myself. I got it done. Whoot Whoot. Then....egads....no! I found another half box of them to sort out! Mercy me! hahahaha

Most of them are not good for scrapping....they are gold color plastic and it has faded from mom having them so long.....I am putting everything that cannot be made into a card or layout somehow, into a couple of big baggies.....gonna send them to the thrift store. The would be good for putting on a mirror or something, I would guess. Hummmmm......now that I wrote that.....maybe I should keep them......and make a mirror myself??? I could do it, spray paint it a fancy color for the grand daughter?? Would be cute in her room. Maybe make a couple of picture frames to match?? Wonder if grand daughter up in New York would like one??

See......I can never give or throw anything away......everything can be a project. bwahahahaha There is no hope for me. None what so ever.
=========================================
The buttons are all done. They will fit in little containers by color and in the drawers....no more huge box.

Just for the record....I have a whole plastic bag, the type they put your groceries in to bring them home, totally full of all the not needed buttons. Mom sure sent me a lot, huh? She probably has that many x 2 at her house. hahahaha

craigslist

Not that I want a full time job or anything....being officially retired is great.....I have been glancing through craigslist and TWC for a bit now. The ads on craigslist totally amuse me.

Examples (I cut and pasted straight from the ads, by the way)
#1
* Ability to Handle Walking Customers
* Expert Skills in MS EXCELL And WORD ( ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE GOOD WITH EXCELL AND WORD )
~~~ Yet, they don't even know how to spell Excel....and I am guessing they mean walk-in customers??~~~
#2
* Accuracy, able to follow instructions and attention detail are of vital importance as is the willing to adapt to changes.
~~~They were not able to write the above sentence correctly themselves, no wonder they need help in the office. HA~~~

===================================
Okay.....so how about this part of an ad for Customer Service I just found on craigslist???

*We offer vacation, paid holidays, medical coverage (in which the company pays 75% of the premiums), option for AFLAC and the opportunity to make money.

~~~Ummmmm don't most jobs give you the opportunity to make money? I mean, that is why we work, right?? hahahaha ~~`
Hoot Hoot
Photo: My owls for group 2 in a swap.  Now....to figure out what type of owl to do for the last group, which is going to be shrinky dinks.
I used a 2-1/2 in circle punch, a balloon and kind of oval type punches for the eyes.  The beak is a small star punch I used to cut out some of the little circles on the basic card stock so it would match the black/white belly.  The dot for the eye is also cut from the basic card stock.  The idea is from pinterest, but really doesn't look anything like the one posted.....I only used the idea to know what size circle to use. The owls for the second group in the swap.  Mom says these look like little fat girl owls. Ha.
