We
have had this wonderful dry dog food feeder thing for several years.
Never need to worry that someone might be hungry. Well phooy on that!
Not long after moving to TMON, Lori Lou explained in no uncertain terms,
she was not going to eat it anymore. And if, by some small miracle,
she did lower herself to eating a piece or two, she would not ever eat
it out of the feeder itself. Oh no....not
her! It needs to be on the floor. Okay, fine....I will always make
sure a few pieces just accidentally lay on the floor in front of the
feeder. Which, for the record.....stayed there.....forever.....till I
would pick them up, and place out a few clean, fresh pieces.
Add Cinderella to the family. Ahhhhhh.....dry dog food is a nice thing.
She is in the same frame of mind as Lori Lou on one thing tho.....it
needs to be on the floor, not in the feeder itself. Why?? I have no
idea....but I humor her, and put some on the floor in front of the
feeder, everyday. She grabs a piece....runs off to eat it.....then
returns for another one. Okay, so she is happy enough.
Return
to Lori Lou.....who has been watching Cinderella eating the dry food for
couple months now. Please note, Lori Lou has not lowered herself to
eating the dry food....she still waits for the food I make for them each
day with the veggies and such.
Yesterday, Ms Priss
decided....weeeeelllllll I guess I need myself a piece of dry dog
food....right at the same time Cinderella was looking for just the right
piece to eat. Cinderella moved over to share.....oh no.....that is not
good enough for Ms Priss. She does the pug thing and bumps Cinderella
out of the way....and then hovers over the food and eats a piece or two.
Cinderella is cool with it....she comes to wait by me while I am doing
the dishes......hummmmmmm I am the one not happy with Lori Lou's
action....so I get a few pieces of food and bring into the kitchen and
place in front of Cinderella. Cindy is all happy......at this
time......Lori Lou turns and gives me the pug stink eye! Seriously!!
hahahahaha She implied that I was a huge traitor. hahahahaha
So, Lori Lou watched Cinderella eating the pieces I gave her.....and
all of a sudden had this over powering urge to eat the very same pieces!
To which, I replied....nope....these are not yours! Oh no! Pug
stink eye again. hahahahaha Lori Lou snuffed and wandered to the front
room and ignored me for awhile. Silly ol' pugger.
