Texas....are you ready for me??

The G=kids will be on spring break soon.  Son2 will be having his birthday.  I wanted so very much to go to Texas to enjoy all of this with them.

After figuring up the price of airfare, a car, gas, food, maybe a hotel or two....it was going to be 1,500 to 2,000.  Seriously!!  I think it is cause it is spring break time for all of the schools.....so things go up in price during this time.

So......I accepted that we could not afford it.

Then thought some more....what if I rent a car in Vegas and drive??  Mr Awesome helped and we looked at that option from all sides.  Alas....not going to use this option.  Know why7??  He found me tickets on Spirit!  Reasonable price and everything.  He didn't want me to spend two days of my time driving both ways....he said he would rather have me spend it with family and friends instead.  :)

Yes, I head out tomorrow...come back to TMON the end of March.  I am so excited! 

All I ever wanted from life....was to have family near and do family type things.  I wanted to be a good Grammie and just enjoy life.   I am so darn grateful I will get to spend this time with them again.

Mr. Awesome is....well......Awesome!

I kept telling Mr. Awesome that there was a TARDIS hiding in this puzzle.  Okay, okay...it might only be blue windows.....but well, close your eyes and tilt your head just right.....and it "could" be my beloved TARDIS.  <wink>

This puzzle went so smoothly.  I am guessing it is because the colors are so obvious and bright.  It is missing several pieces.  I picked it up from the library, so we kind of expected to have some missing.  One neat thing, this puzzle had really odd shaped pieces.  Some of them made little dogs or cats.  :)

Just life

Nothing much going on in TMON.  Which is kind of nice.  :)  Beautiful weather, when the wind is not trying to blow the house and everything around us off the mountain.  hahaha   I sure like sitting out in the sun with the pugs every chance we can.

Today we went to Tonopah to check into some court stuff.  That mean lunch at Burger King.  Fish sandwich.  Yum.

Looked for frozen goodies to put in the freezer.  Now that we have one....I want to make good use of it.  Not much added to our stash tho.  Not much variety in this area....and it costs way more than I want to pay.

RL called.  She starts her official "boss" position tomorrow. :)  She already hired her first two people.  So proud of her.  She told us about Shane doing really good this year in school.  I am VERY proud to hear that.  I suspect it is cause they are not in that expensive school district any more.  He is comfortable now.  My heart is so happy for him.

So, there you go.  More or less, an update.

Whew....took forever!

Finally...at long last.....we finished this one.  Started it before Christmas.  For some reason it was hard to work.  It is only 500 pieces....but.....well.....it is done!   Doing a happy dance.  hehe

Doctor

Seems my thyroid level is high.  So I will back off the levoxyl and stay the same on the armour.

Did a ekg for my heart.  Will go see a heart doctor soon. 

Also see a thyroid doc again in the future.

Will do a sleep test again....can do it at home this time.  Cool.

Motel

 

The pugs always chose to sleep on my bed when at the various motels.  I just thought Cinderella was looking cute, and took this photo to share with everyone.

While driving back home yesterday....we were watching this particular "cloud".  I think it is actually, possibly snow, somehow.

We, both of us, could see a rainbow on the left side of the "cloud", at the bottom, close to the ground.  But, you could only see if when wearing sunglasses.

The blue pic is regular photo.....the other one is with my glasses over the lens.   Alas....could not get the rainbow to show up.

The cloud was interesting.
